Obsolutely Five Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Maraming maraming salamat po!!! We had an amazing three days in Batanes. Thank you so much to the owners and hosts of R&E who went above and beyond to ensure our expectations were not only met, but in all aspects exceeded. They made our visit an incredible journey full of lifetime memories. We would like to also personally note, for the benefit of many, that everything was reasonably priced! Clariza’s Birthday was Icing on the Cake— Over the phone from Hawaii I pre-arranged with Mabel a surprise birthday treat for my girlfriend Clariza. Her birthday, October 8 was on our second day on Batan Island. That early morning from the house we took a five-minute walk to the port where we caught a motor boat for Sabtang Island. (This “Heaven on Earth” island is a must see when you’re in Batanes.) After touring the wondrous scenery of Sabtang we came back to Batan in the afternoon for a two-hour swim at White Beach. We waited till sunset before heading home. At 7 pm we were cleaned up and fresh again. We came downstairs and near the dining table was the Vice Governor of Batanes playing the ukelele together with his wife singing Happy Birthday to Clariza! Oh my God! It was magnificent! Fresh lobster, fish, vegetables and pork adobo with brown rice! How they managed to produce a Birthday cake so delicious still puzzled us until today. ☺️☺️☺️ 😊😊😊 Hello world! Shout out to the team to beat, these world class superstars: - Vice Governor of Batanes Honorable Ronald Aguto (owner) - Mrs. Elaine Aguto (owner) - Mabel (daughter) - Marita (chef) - Jay (driver and tour guide) - Edgar (assigned driver and tour guide Sabtang Island) For those looking for a wonderful magical time in Batanes that won’t break the bank, Clariza and I most strongly recommend R&E Bed & Breakfast! The people here are so blessed and so as their land. We love you! We are friends for life!!! Thank you once again R&E for caring for Batanes and its people. Till we meet again.
