It's so simple and yet beautiful. I love the simpleness of the house. This kind of house is really for the Batanes kind of weather. Cool on hot days and sturdy for the strong storm.

The grand daughter of Dakay is the one staying at the house. They are so accommodating and didn't bother if we roam around. There's a lot of old pictures of the family. The house tells a lot story without even saying it out loud. Super grateful there are still well preserved house like this!
