In the midst of a war-torn land of Cotabato sprawls a vibrant Catholic community in Pigcawayan dedicated to Saint Blaise, Patronage of those with Throat Problems. I've been here last May 2019 for our Mercy Mission and Outreach Program for the Manobos in the far-flung area of Renibon, and to my surprise, a lot of locals gather here every Sunday for Sunday Masses! I was expecting that this local church is a bit inactive due to expected smaller number of Catholics in this settlement, but to my surprise, it has a lot of parishioners and church-goers. With the church facilities, it can be visibly seen as a simple yet profound church due to its focus on the Main Altar. It's location near the City Hall emphasizes the importance of its community in building the economic and social progress of the entire Pigcawayan. Christians and Muslims live here peacefully with one another and this should inspire us to achieve the grassroots of peace here in Mindanao.

A catholic church, it's near in the municipality of pigcawayan, u can ride a trysikad,trycle private cars and there's curfew in this area
