I normally go to Nuat Thai for massage but this time I was going to be at ICM and thought it would be more convenient to go here. Upon entering, the receptionist told me that it would be an hour wait. I said that would be fine because I will just do my shopping first. She then informed me that they have a policy of same gender therapist only. I tend to avoid male therapists here in the Philippines because of a bad experience with a male therapist who was...let's just say "not behaving in a professional way". (Sadly, this is not that uncommon here.) Anyway, I didn't want to risk spending my vacation in a Philippine jail for having to defend my honor against a male therapist with wandering hands. And so I politely declined and said I will go somewhere else. Immediately, the receptionist went from friendly to stern and gave me a look like I'm some kind of creep. This uncomfortable situation is partly the fault of management for not posting their prudish policy on their website, their door or even their spa menu. Instead they wait until you go inside and choose from the menu and then they give you the stink eye if you decline. Secondly, their receptionists need to learn some manners.

Very nice place to relax, do some massage, facials n etc while waiting for someone inside the mall.
