Diocesan Shrine and Parish of St. Mary Magdalene

Finding this was like a hidden treasure inside a simple and meek neighborhood around Pilila, Rizal. The Church was open but the Our Lady Lourdes Garden was closed when we visited. The ambiance is very calming and solemn allowing you to think more clearly. They also have spacious parking space, despite narrow roads outside. Hope visitors could visit the bell tower or 2nd level of the church to get a good 360 view of the whole town.

Great church in the middle of Pililia Rizal. Superb interior designs. You can also see the Pililia windmills from afar.

Going to this church is a bit challenging since the roads are narrow around the church. It has wide open parking area inside though. A National Cultural Treasure place.

Nice church with beautiful ceiling paintings

This church was built around 1583 formerly known as St Mary Magdalene Parish Church. Last year July 22, 2018 the Parish was declared as a diocesan shrine.
