Canhugas Nature Park

Amazing place. The waves crash against the shore, and there are big tidal pools you can soak in, even swim in. Just make sure you see a way to get back out before you jump in. One warning. Many stray cats that are very aggressive around your food. One bit my wife when she dropped a piece of meat. We've spent a day and 1/2 already getting rabies shots. I would have given 5 stars if not for the cats.

Never EVER left Canhugas Nature Park if you haven't step on the rocky cliff. This is the site where you can appreciate nature as God's creation. So breathtaking indeed!

When you arrive on the area, no need to ride a habal2 or a tricycle coz its only near from the highway. I would recommend to bring an "Aqua Shoes" (search for it) coz some of the areas there have a SHARP ROCKS and also the weather should be good coz it has BIG WAVES. There is cottages, chairs and tables with umbrella, and also you can order a food. You should arrive earlier around 7-8am if you want to enjoy swimming in the area.

This us my second adventure in canhugas nature park, still it never fails to amaze me. This time, no scratches and wounds. I am more careful than before 😉
