The place is improving compared before. The place is cleanly maintained. The security is fine.
Magsaysay Park is a very fun and therapeutic place to be because there's a seaside, small forests and a big space. I have been here a couple of times to hangout, exercise and have dance practices. Kids and adults can have fun here because there are facilities to let you rent a bike and there are also small shops to buy food or snacks and there's also a small chapel which is located on the seaside. Everywhere there is a trash bin so it's clean and tidy and there's also restrooms at the north and south part of the park. You can also bring a private vehicle here and park inside. This place also shows the history of the city that's why it's a good public park. It's busy mostly on weekends so if you don't want it to be too crowded then go on weekdays.
For nearby places, there are a lot of small malls and shops outside the park which you can visit. Also it's near ChinaTown that's why it's a bit busy here.
For transportation, there are buses, jeepneys, tricycles and taxis so it won't be difficult to find transportation here.
All in all, my experience here was great and memorable. I highly recommend the place.
Magsaysay park, where children grow with happiness. It's a place where you can have a peace of mind. You can also enjoy davao's best fruits selections available outside magsaysay park. Lets pray this pandemic to go away.
There was a place where you could see sample tribal household which are informative. Though it needs to improved on the cleanliness of the place..maybe because of the lockdowns where no one is allowed to go to parks. But in normal scenarios, this is a good place to visit. I visited because i needed to inquire on TIEZA office and I got what i needed to get.
The area is quite good and the authorities are uptight due to pandemic . The area is pleasing to the eyes and there some seats however most of the materials are a bit old and are rusty
