The site of the Friendship Tower in Bagac, Bataan is located about 200 meters from where the Bataan Death March of April 1942 took place which caused the deaths of 10,000 war prisoners. After World War II. Japan started rebuilding its relations with the Philippines. A tower that symbolizes not only the end of the war between Japanese and Filipinos but the start of their new friendship and unity. The Friendship Tower is a structure which consists of three pillars joined by rings. The structure also hosts a hanged peace. To get here, ride a jeep bound for Bagac. This is near the terminal, so you won't get lost. It is unfortunate that some of our local tourist ignore such a meaningful, exceptional and historic monument.
