I love the bed with head hole because it is more comfortable when massaging the back. The essential oil smells so nice minty and lemony. They offer several packages like scrub and massage, see photo for the rate.

My legs are hurting from that little hike that I did in Siquijor 2 days ago so I am in need of a good massage. I saw a leaflet at the reception of Flying Fish hostel where I am currently staying, it’s of Alivio, a newly opened spa. The hostel staff said that it’s just around the corner, just a 1 or 2-minute walk from the hostel. So I went there this late afternoon, not expecting much, but ended up having one of the best massages that I’ve had. The spa is new having just opened last April. So everything looks pretty and new, in fact I could still detect a little scent of paint. They were playing soothing piano music, the spa smells of mint and aromatic scent, which for the life of me I couldn’t identify, but it’s nice. And the staff is courteous and warm. I had their signature massage for P380, 1 hour. I didn’t get the name of the therapist but her strokes are really good. She really went deep into those tired muscles of mine. The only thing is, after a massage they gave me cold instead of warm water. I think that’s my only critic, but overall I highly recommend this spa if ever you get to visit Dumaguete.
