Called days in advance to reserve a room for my dad's operation. They assured us we would get one on a specific day. Sure enough no room was reserved and nobody would answer back our calls. Save yourselves some hassle and avoid this one.

To all the resident doctors, nurses, medical staff who attended to my husband's need after the labresult of his trop-I pop out, for making explaining my husband's condition. To the nurses and staff on the 3rd floor and theim resident doctors who were patiently monitoring my husband's condition. To Dr. Rowena Chiu and Doc Coching, I truly appreciate your expertise, and thank you so much for giving your best to address the needs of my husband. To the housekeeping services, food services, thank you so much for your hospitality. To the young aspiring priests who served the Holy eucharistic in my husband's room. Thank you for bringing christ to us. I'm sure your presence had made his healing even more faster.. For the security and security, billing department, very responsive and fast.. Salamat kaayo.. I have mixed feelings about this hospital. First I like it because it has affordable prices. I have been to this hospital for several medical issues from chikungunya to Dengue, to child birth. The second reason why I like it is because it have a decently comfortable atmosphere. The problem I have with this hospital is due to the policies it has when it comes to childbirth. My wife and I chose this hospital as the location to give birth to our first child. As you can imagine this is a very significant step in our lives and we wanted it to be both memorable and affordable. Unfortunately DMSF has a policy that it does not allow the husband to be present in the birthing room. My wife was in a separate room and I did not receive regular updated from the hospital staff unless I was needed to go out and purchase something such as food or supplies. I actually fell asleep in the bed assigned to my wife in the ward while she was in the birthing room giving birth. We as in pain and agony brining my child into this world and I had no clue while I was snoring away. It wasn't until about an hour later that I woke and went pass by the birthing area to get an update. I saw our doctor in the hall who told me my daughter was in the natal ward and I could view her through a glass. Turns out my daughter has a small case of pneumonia and was in the NICU for a week. Problem with that is while the mother was allowed to enter, the father was not. It wasn't until a week after my daughter was born that I was able to hold her. This kinda makes me angry whenever I think about it because it is ridiculous. If my wife was to ever give birth in Davao City again we will certainly choose Davao Doctors next time.
