Mt. Loay Nature Park

Book Kaloy as your guide. You need decent trek shoes. Running shoes won't cut as you traverse the muddy trail. Walking pole is an option but recommended if your not sure footed as trails get steep and slippery. Bring packed lunch, water and snacks are available along the route. Don't leave trash and pick trash that you see along the way.

Challenging climb. Good for people planning to climb Mt. Apo. It's a good starter since the trail going up is challenging. The trek down through traversing to Langan Falls was a bit harder than expected because of the muddy ground, still the climb was worth it.

The trail is good for beginners climb for its challenging sloped and terrain. Also serve as preparation hike for those who want to climb mt apo, with cheaper municipal environmental and tourism fee for everbody..

I can say that it's very challenging, yet very rewarding when you reach the peak. Perfect for friends or for anyone who loves hiking. The scenery is A+ and there are no entrance fee, but you'll have to pay P20-P50 to the people for the purpose of maintenance and improvements.

The climb is a bit hard but when you reach the top all you can say is I Iove the Earth.
