Belance High School

Belance High School is a public national high school under the Department of Education, Philippines. It is located at Belance, Dupax del Norte Nueva Vizcaya and is one of the only five public high schools in the municipality of Dupax del Norte as of 2015. Belance High School is formerly the Nueva Vizcaya Institute of Technology- BCOS, a satellite school of the present Nueva Vizcaya State University. It gained its status as a national high school when it was formally turned to the Department of Education on 2001. As of records, Belance High School is one of the public institutions of the country with a 100% Indigenous People (IP) enrolees as of school year 2015-2016. It is commonly known to be a softball powerhouse within Nueva Vizcaya. Physically-wise, Belance High School has an area of more than ten hectares; some of it are reserved for the tree planting of the Government's National Greening Program. The development of its area for better productivity is being looked forward to both GOs and NGOs contribution. Due to the increase in its students' population, more physical developments in terms of classroom buildings is to be duly noted by the concerned institutions. Aesthetically, the location of Belance High School will be admired by nature lovers! Continous development of its nature sites will somehow make this school eligible for any ecology related and tourist site promotion contests.
