Is a very intressting Museum from a phillipine hero. Is much explain and Show there and not to much for pay. Tickets so ok for me. One must when you visit Manila and phillipine. Direkt in the Fort Santiago.is the Museum where I was. Enjoy and learn. Greet from germany. Near cologne.

I learned facts here that I’ve never learned from my history/Rizal class back in school. Or maybe I haven’t read that much. Well, it’s never too late to learn.

A symbolic place for Filipinos I gave 5 stars because I think this small museum deserves a visit to learn about life, the works and the death of the most famous National hero of the Philippines. In 1896 he was killed by the Spanish colonizers because he was accused of conspiracy for having founded the youth movement "Lega of the Philippines", which spread freedom of thought and autonomy. 120 years after his death there are celebrations to commemorate him these days. The most symbolic place linked to José Rizal, is located in Intramuros in the "Rizal Shrine", where I visited his last prison before being shot. Filipinos come here as on a pilgrimage.
