Museo ni Jose Rizal - Fort Santiago

This is one of the many museums managed by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines. You can visit this when you enter Fort Santiago. You have to pay the entrance fee at the entrance ticket of Fort Santiago and then no more entrance fee when you visit this museum.

I didn't expect that this museum would be one of my favorites when I visited Intramuros. It showcased the life of Rizal in great detail and exhibited a lot of photographs, Rizals sculpture, drawings and arts. I love that it told the story of his life and it reminded me of the lessons I took during my elementary and high school days plus at the same time, giving me new information about him. It made me appreciate his life more and become an inspiration.

This museum shows more to the private life of Rizal. Even his wife and mistresses' picture is showcase here in big size. If im not wrong there are 6 or 9 of them 😁, cant help, he is such a handsome guy. Small building consist of 2 rooms.

Educational. Focuses mainly on Rizal's imprisonment here before his execution.
