In 2015, the United Sulu Chess Club Incorporated was looking for a permanent place after the disagreement between the previous President and the current one. The new President decided to build a chess club here and also building a library also. Until now, chess players, especially the young ones, are frequently visiting the place because the USCCI CLIC has many chess books to read. However, no one is allowed to bring books outside except for meritorious cases. Chess playing and reading go hand and hand as chess is a silent game. Hopefully, the chess club and library continue on growing as time goes by.
