MACHALET FALLS

The closer you get to the falls the more difficult it becomes to travel. You really need a 4x4 with big wheels to get as close as possible before hiking down to the base of the falls. There are a few streams to cross as well as steep trails to walk. Bring your waterproof hiking boots and hiking staff/poles. Carry your provisions in a backpack because you'll need both arms. Signs along the road indicate how close you're getting to the falls, but the signs end where the paved roads end. Ask the locals for directions because the dirt roads split in different areas.

a very beautiful waterfalls. so powerful, gigantic and one of a kind. great site for picnic, trekking and adventure. it's challenging trail makes it more interesting and fulfilling!
