Del Rio Splash Resort

I can remember Del Rio Splash Resort, it's good as it is...the pool, room and resto not to forget the convention center...The horse back riding, kalesa and the boating...

Well, the last memory I had with this place is when I was still a little girl. I vaguely remember the place, except for the 3 levels of slides that I never forgot. The place is clean, you won’t see litters anywhere. Let’s start with the entrance fee! Okay, so children 3-10 y/o are paying 40php only, while the 11 y/o & up is paying 50php. Pretty cheap, eh? They have almost 30 small cottages that costs 300php that would fit in a small family. Of course, a big cottage that twice the cost of the small one. Worth 600php it’ll shelter a group of 20 or more. Recommendable for parties. They have two pools - for kids with two slides, and for adults with 4 slides. It contains chlorine, but they’re not strict of what type and color of clothes you’ll wear. And they have lifeguards on watch, except at the kiddie pool. The things that kindly disappointed me though are the lack of good amenities. • They have a bathroom, obviously, and inside them are two showers and two toilets. It’s a pretty beat up bathroom, with all its doors unattached to the doorways and the showerheads are nowhere to be seen. • There’s no drinkable faucets or any source of water, so you need to buy outside. • Their canteen lacks so much, it’s just a small store. And when I say small, that only one cabinet of junkfoods kind of store. • They don’t offer any dishes, you need to provide for yourself. The very thing that super disappointing is the lake below the resort, it could be found on the photos within this post. It was once a very nice lake, you could even ride the big swan, but now it wouldn’t be possible because the lake was loaded! There are tons of water lilies floating on every inch of the lake! The cottages below are all damaged, and there are tall and crawling grasses everwhere! The ISLAND COVE is no longer functional. How sad tho, I could still remember that part of the resort. I just hope that Del Rio Splash Resort would clean that up and return to its former glory or maybe make something new out of it. Anyways, I hope I helped. 😊
