Due to the lockdown, the museum was closed which is a bummer, especially for history buffs. Still, the visit was not in vain. It was easier to appreciate the place because there were not a lot of visitors (we went on Dec. 5, 2020). We had the place all to ourselves! There is a big parking area in front, so that is not a problem (very minimal parking fee). There are also clean comfort rooms if you need one during your stop.

Intricately designed, old church that will worth your time. Mark this church to be on top of your list for that bucket. You have to see it to believe. Visits here will cost you just gas, nothing more nothing less. 😊😊

Church is beautiful, historical aspect is great. Just walk past the beggars and scammers in the parking lot. Take care of the hard working people selling trinkets instead.

My 3rd time to visit this Church with neo-classic style facade. A symbol of History and Faith...

BARASOAIN CHURCH Officially named Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, this beautiful baroque style architecture made of adobe and concrete materials, was built in 1888 and is located in Paseo del Congreso Street in Malolos, Bulacan. Renowned for its significance in the Philippine History during the late Spanish and early American periods, there were three major events in Philippine History that happened in this esteemed Church: - the convening of the First Philippine Congress - drafting of Malolos Constitution - inauguration of the First Philippine Republic. Captured these photos on my visit to Malolos, Bulacan last 30 September 2020.
