Has cottages for those who want to have a picnic
Has complete safety gear for the cave tour
Has kayaks for those who want to go around sohoton cave
Has clean comfort rooms
Place is pet friendly
Cons:
You need a vehicle to get here
Bring your own food, no food houses within this park's area
Got lost at first before we arrived at the most convenient time, which was brunch. There weren't too many visitors considering it was a saturday. Food can be purchased there but you can only eat in the reception area, they regard highly on the general upkeep and maintenance of the place. I also commend their friendly staff and the management. You will be greeted by someone manning the front desk to accomodate your group for the boatride en route to the cave and assign you a guide (Gentle reminder: Don't forget to take pictures on the way to the cave, the natural scenery is amazing!) The guide told us there were still developments (like sheds and comfort rooms, etc. being made to gain more visitors/tourists. The place could use some additional attractions too (There's a singing guitar band serenading infront of the cave) but overall the exeprience you'll get once you see the hidden river inside will surely make you appreciate nature.
Beautiful place and unique👍 it's more fun in the Philippines! Spark Samar! ❤️
It was a nature unwinding, the other tour activities can lead you to really love and take care of our nature. Would definitely go back!!
It was a bit of a pain to get here since it was through the small winding roads from Tacloban city. It was, however, pretty much a single road to get there. The visitor center is just before the bridge, there is a sign on the road.
We were disappointed that it was closed by the time we arrived since it took a couple of hours for the tour. The last run was at 3pm (1500). The place did look nice and this would be something I would want to try if I came back.
