Dapitan

The ticketing booth is located very far away from the actual port... if you are not a native then you would miss it and you have to go back and buy 1... The routing of the the passengers is also not organized...at one point both the exiting and boarding passengers have to share a common route...

There must be a port worse than Dapitan somewhere in the Philippines, that why I am giving Dapitan one star. Ticketing is horrendous. The women at the ticketing booth is clearly intentionally slow.

Truly the worst port ever. We went here 30 minutes before the boat left, and there were no more tickets in the ticket booth. We waited for 4 hours before they allowed us to buy our tickets. The ticket booth was not even connected or remotely close to the port so we had to take a motorcycle ride to the port which costed 25 pesos each (we were scammed, yes.) After being inside the port, the bathroom was super dirty and the terminal was way too hot and uncomfortable to sit in. I suggest that they should have a ticket booth inside the terminal or atleast an online booking page.

Excellent security and staff.

The worst port in the PH (positively hellish) they intentionally give you the ran around in order to induce you pay a fixer. Processes that are asinine that even the horrible ports like Allen and Matnog seem better! Use Dipolog port instead! Well anything PPA touches turns gold (mines) for their officers
