Casa Manila

Casa Manila is a perfect place to take pictures. They definitely give the old and classic manila vibe. The guards would ask you to download the staysafeph app to fill up a health declaration form, so be sure to have the app ready and you have data connection before going there.

Entrance is near the San Agustin Church. You have to have the “StaySafePH” app installed in your mobile phones (for contact tracing for CoViD). Every person in the group needs to have this to register and be admitted in the compound and museum. Php75 is the price for admission to the museum. You are only allowed to walk on the carpeted path and of course are NOT allowed to touch the display. The place is beautiful. The intricate designs of the furniture is amazing. You get a glimpse of the life of the past. Please make this an itinerary when you visit Manila.

I really love the old aesthetics of the place. The problem is the informal settlers living around the area tarnishing the historical beauty of Intramuros. There's chaos everywhere you look at the back of Casa Manila.
