Robinsons Place Manila

Nice place, may stores are open despite the pandemic

The mall is huge and contains many storefronts and I have made purchases from a lot of them with no complaints. I only give a three star rating because of two things. Number one, they are too cheap to air condition the main part of the mall to a comfortable temperature, it is almost always hot enough that you are sweating when in the main corridors. Number two, escalators are not working all over the mall and there are only two elevators in the easily accessible areas. Robinson is surely making more than enough profits to correct these issues but they will not because they are cheapskates or kuripot.

Very convenient place to make government-related transactions. I went here as a preferred place to renew a professional license. And it took me less than 10 minutes to complete my transaction. Plenty of shops to buy food or dine in, following COVID-19 safety measures. This is a good place to buy groceries, too. Clean, sufficiently lit supermarket. There's an underground parking lot.

I've been in Robinson.s place many times before and during the lockdown and it is obviously a lot better before being locked down but not terribly bad after either. Plenty of movies, food, drug and merchandise stores in this gigantic mall. You can pretty much find everything right here. Be aware that after the General Community quarantine was imposed I had to go back for a dental check up and they would not allow seniors into the mall. I'm just over 60 but better safe than sorry. The guard let me in after proving that I had an appointment. I realize that is for may safety so I do not get sick and I am happy not to be sick :)
