I am giving Divine Mercy 5 stars actually, being a patient here for 6 years...I will not stay here that long if the place does not suit my taste. For a widowed bipolar, who writes poetry and doing some art works, the place is perfect for me as a retirement home. I also have the opportunity of honing the artistic skills of others, by leading an artgroup that spreads the word of God through artworks, like bible verses designed with flowers. At first, we gave our services and art labor for free having distributed 300 bookmarks for free at a nearby church. Now we are saving our works of bible verses and Holy Images for exhibit next year in a well- known gallery. Our purpose mainly is to spread the teachings in the bible and secondly, give opportunity for some artists to have a sense of purpose and self worth by having the feeling of being instruments of God in spreading His words and at the same time have a feeling of self-sufficiency by earning some money to buy for their personal needs like toiletries and some snacks. We call ourselves as FRIENDS OF CHRIST. Serving God is not limited to artworks and poetry. Every evening, we meet to pray the Chaplet Of The Divine Mercy, the rosary, do some bible readings and sing some praise songs. This prayer group not only reaches out to God, but also try to reach out to other patients, especially the new ones, to give them hope and strenght to be able to face this difficult portion of their lives. I am happy here because I can do the things I want to do, and mainly, they are just to write, do some artwork, pray, and help others.
