The staff are very friendly and helpful at this location. English is spoken throughout, maps of all the stops are posted along with fares. Having a time table would be helpful, but asking a staff member, as they will radio out to a boat and give you a time. The complaints about the waterway odors are true but that is not the fault of the ferry terminal.

It is a huge traffic jam in Manila. So I used the ferry to go to the Intramuros area in the hostel and it cost about 40 pesos and it took 30 minutes. The getting off point is from Eskola Station, and Chinatown is located in the surrounding area. It feels so messy, but it feels like coming to India, but there are also cheap and large malls. Eat here In Chinatown, you can go to Tracy Cyclist Santiago Port and walk to Manila Cathedral, St. Augustine's Cathedral and Lapu-Lapu Statue.
