A unique place to visit. But there is something wrong with the map. To get the faster. Look for the Gaston Ancestral House instead .
This chapel was built at early 1900, and the community still preserve the cartwheels that was used.
The place now has an entrance of P20 for student, P50 for regular.
Great place to discover the culture of its people way back from how the Chapel was built.
Nice rural setting.
Chapel was built in 1967 by Fr. Guillermo Gaston. It's based on Vatican II, intended to be more relatable to common folks in the area - shaped like salakot (farmer's hat), cartwheels from actual wagons used before cars came in, families pitched in making the wooden seats. Spiritual figurines like Jesus and Mary were even localized. Mass is celebrated here every Sunday.
