URAYA’S PEAK

We went to this place without knowing where exactly it really is. We tried Google Map while on the road but 40+kms from Uraya signal went off. I suggest for those first timers just follow the road! We arrived at Uraya's Peak around 6pm their villas are budget friendly but we preferred to camp at the peak. There are sari-sari stores outside. No water at the peak so we brought a gallon from the registration area, staffs are very friendly and accommodating! Superb! They don't really suggest to camp at the peak since it'raining season but since we had experienced camping with some other mountains in Davao Del Sur they let us camp at the peak! We had a night trek 15-20 minutes to the peak and both sides of the peak has perfect views! It's 300 per head for camping by the way. All worth it! We're the only one who camp at the peak that time and we're able to see the sunrise that's so priceless! At the top you must bring a jacket! At morning while descending there we noticed that there're more spot on the trail to take some great pictures with the background view. This place is perfect for family vacation since there are villas to stay in and travel goals with friends to go on short hiking!

There is a mini trek, I recommend to wear hiking shoes as sometimes the path gets muddy. Overall, a refreshing experience, and their native coffee is a must-try.
