Binangawan Falls

WARNING! Nice falls and worth the effort, just be aware of two possible dangers. Firstly, the paved road leading up to the falls is extremely steep and potentially dangerous on AUTOMATIC scooters. People have lost braking control and died on this road so make sure your bike's brakes are working properly. Secondly, the path down to the falls is short but steep and very slippery during and after rain. Good footwear is recommended. Stairs are being built, but not yet completed. Enjoy and be safe...

For real adventurers, this waterfall is: - hard to reach (drive to the end pf the road, walk back 20 mt and go up the stairs, at the watertank dont follow the pipe but go left, then follow the trail: 30 min down on very slippery and muddy slope) - inhabited by leeches: they are a minor, gross nuisance but be warned to check yourself after dipping - very dangerous to leave: the road back is very steep, with branches on the road. Go slow. Take frequent stops to cool down your breaks. In the end still very worth it! Just be prepared

Nice waterfall but need some effort to get to this. Road on the rented scooter is hard but possible if you are taking stops to cood down brakes and engine. It needs some trekking to get from a road to waterfall, maybe 30-40 minutes because its very slippery and lots of roots and rocks. But Worth it! Water is cold and after rains the current is too strong to take a swim.

Just if you are adventure guy. Please note this is not an easy path (specially if it rained previously). However if you like the challenges it is a good plsce to go as you will go thorugh the jungle. The locals are working building stairs and doing the place more reachable for all people but it is still under consteuction. If you go, probably you will be alone in the falls (although very cold water)

They need to clear the path and cut the overgrowth. Managed to get most of the way up, but then the path disappeared. Shame.
