Super friendly and helpful. As a foreigner you do not have to wait so long. You just have to tell the nurse that you are "private". Costs are still very low. For example, an X-ray image costs only 250 PHP ... unthinkable in D! Every month there are different specialists from Manila (trained in Germany or USA) - sometimes a bone surgeon, sometimes for ophthalmologist etc .... if possible you should ask first and then directly on the day to the specialist. You can take a longer stay with a private hospital room with air conditioning for 1,500 PHP / day. We recommend. Companion pays nothing extra and includes 3 skinny meals / day included. You have as a private patient for 24 hours 4 different doctors available and right outside the door always 2 nurses, who always control who enters the station. Unauthorized access is prohibited. The administration clarifies if desired also everything immediately with the foreign insurance. But important is: the KH clarifies this only if the foreign insurance company has a partner (branch, branch office, cooperation partner, etc.) in the Philippines. This partner then clarifies everything with Germany. The KH itself does not care about that. But it takes a few days. It also requires reports from the doctor and other documents ... with 3-5 days can be expected. Therefore on the first day to the administration and instruct them!
