We have 4 cats. Every time I shop here for cat food, cat toys and treats, I always get great service. A smile begets a smile. A cordial conversation always works. Their staff will always offer to help you carry heavy loads to your car or taxi. I even got the owner offer delivery service for purchases over a certain amount. Not sure if this is offered to all. Again, its probably because I honestly treat them with courtesy and respect EVERY TIME I visit.

Was going to have my dog washed here when I heard a customer getting angry with one of the staff. Listened in a little and apparently the staff doesn't want to groom the dog the way the customer would want. He wants to full on shave the dog which the customer doesn't want due to cold weather. The customer was okay with the dog being shaved but if it was possible that they only shave the matted part and at least leave the upper part and the guy was saying that it will come out ugly. But the customer said that it was fine because what matters was that the dog would not freeze specially because their location was cold, specially at night. Still the staff refused and said that they could comb out the matted part and traumatize the dog and the customer got angry with that suggestion because if you were going to traumatize the dog then why even suggest it? The guy said that the customer will not like the outcome and will probably even ask them to do it again which angered her further because she understands that the outcome will look odd but she is prioritizing the condition if the dog and not the look. I kind of understand that matted hair is bad but I also kind of understand the customer because her dog is a small breed. Which means that they are more prone to temperature. It would have been fine to shave the dog if it was summer but it's freaking cold here at night. Not to mention the rain. Will not bring my pets here for a grooming if that is the case. I know that the customer isn't always right but if they understand the possible consequence of their action and you don't have to do much work then why not just do it? Not like she asked him to perm the dog or make the hair longer.
