The news is real. The place is so cozy. Baguio feels is definitely there. Enjoy the feels with their specialty hot choco drink or coffee. Food is good too. ❤ the fact that it is insode Camp John Hay is the best. You can go to the other tourist spot there before or after going. 😁👌

The open space , (hard to top) The air.. even the cries of the crows seem pleasant..and the smell and warmth of hot chocolate or the batirol more like..😊

Staff are nice, and ambiance is great if you're the type who likes to eat in a garden. I recommend classic chocolate batirol and suman sa lihia

Nice place to chill and relax. Yummy Turon... must try... Hot choco is too sweet for me though 😌

Founded in 1996, Tsokolate de Batirol has been for many years synonymous to Camp John Hay and Baguio food trips. As far as I remember, before its present location, it was originally situated in the upper part of CJH in Scout Hill Drive. It was a quaint café back then offering really good fresh hot chocolate and light snacks for visitors of the adventure/leisure grounds of CJH. The present-day Chocolate de Batirol is now a rainforest/garden style alfresco Filipino restaurant with wooden outdoor tables perfect for hanging out while enjoying the cool fresh breeze in this quiet side of the city. It’s known for traditional hot chocolate and Filipino pastries and snacks. Rice meals are also available. All items are fairly priced and very affordable. Well recommended for Baguio first-timers!
