CHAN restaurant formerly known as Iceland, was our family's favorite restaurant. We used to go there all the time esp after Sunday church and after school with my barkadas. I couldn't recall when was the last time I visited Iceland but it has been 21 to 22 years, I think? This February, some of my family members and I went home for different purposes. Heard Iceland closed and changed its name to CHAN's. So, I insisted to go check them out. I've got to tell you, their pancit was still good. I was amazed by their consistency. When I tasted their food, it brought back a lot of memories, of home how the old day was. It was also nice to see familiar faces, the owner, their servers and Auntie Chan. Which makes me call them family now. My visit was only for a week but this trip reminded me that no matter where you are, Home is where the Heart is. THANK YOU, CHAN'S restaurant for accommodating my magulo Herrera family. I'm so glad I came to see and visited you all. Until next time.
