Evangelista Medical Specialty Hospital

My first time in this hospital and this makes me feel more disappointed with the medical status of our country. We went here at 1130am and took 5 hours before we got the actual checkup. There was no step by step procedure posted on how to have outpatient checkup so we have to ask the old lady attending the new comers. We were told to go to the information area where they made us fillup on the form for our details since its our first time. We then waited for our names to be called but then a guy told us to wait at waiting area near ER which is outside the hospital since my parents have colds. The waiting area really looks disgusting as it is very dirty plus there is a hospital bed that is also dirty. We chose to wait outside the area as we dont feel safe. A nurse got our bp and asked medical history then waited for almost an hour to be called. My parents were told to have swab but chose not to so they decided not to proceed with checkup. In my case i was told to go back at 2pm as the doctor is not available. I went there and was told to proceed at level3. But then the coordinator asked for my hmo approval which i thought was settled because the lady at info area already asked for my card. So i had to return at info to get the hmo form. I was told by the personnel there to fill the small form again for my details since its my first time and told him i already filled up that form. They could not find it which is very dissapointing so i had to fillup again. I had to wait again for my hmo approval. The guy then called me up ang gave me the hmo form without saying anything so i asked him if this is already ok. He does not seem friendly since he does not even look while talking. Went back to level3 to have my checkup and we waited forever as the doctor is very late. My sched was 2pm and was attend at 5 pm. I will not go back in this hospital. Imagine we went for checkup at 1130 and finished past 5pm. It was very tiring day.

My Mother was recently admiited for colostomy. A certain nurse named "Nurse Armie " is so OPPORTUNISTIC THAT SHE PERSONALLY BILLED MY MOM P500 TO PAY HER DIRECTLY WHILE MY MOM WAS IN EVANGELISTA ED FOR WOUND CARE WHICH SHE POCKETED. MY MOM PAID P75 FOR ED FEE. SHE SCHEDULED HER SELF TO SEE MY MOM TThS FOR WOUND DRESSING FOR P600 AND P300 FOR HER TRANSPO. WHAT A LOW LIFE OPPORTUNISTIC INDIVIDUAL. IT IS UNFORTUNATE THAT YOU'RE A NURSE. SHAME ON YOU

What happens if someone has no money to pay for emergency surgery and services?

Their lineup of doctors is a notch higher compared to other hospitals nearby. Facilites and technology is okay, but one thing to consider here is their lack of parking. During weekdays, you might have a hard time looking for a place to park considering there's a school and another hospital just across the street. They have a dedicated parking at the back but it's a minute walk to the hospital (not really that far). They have a bunch of friendly staff and some grumpy ones, nevertheless, if it's a real emergency and I need to go to a near hospital, this will be the first in my list.

I had my first baby delivery here and I highly recommend their cleanliness and nurses for being timely and responsive. Thank you :)
