Highlight of my trip to the city. As said in other reviews, don't expect to see butterflies swarming you, although we did manage to see some beautiful ones while in the garden. Come for the experience and the history behind this sanctuary! Ms. Jumalon is a wonderful storyteller. In October, they will be celebrating her father's accomplishments with an exhibition!

People seriously need to visit this place more often. The sanctuary is a very beautiful place to learn about one of our local scientists. Also, the sanctuary will have an open house this coming October 18. Please do attend.

You can see many kinds of butterflies all over the world from the tiniest to the biggest, from the rarest to the most common. You can also witness the metamorphosis of the butterfly, from the egg to the crysallis and to the pupa and larvae. This is a nice place if you want your kid to explore life the butterflies. Though we find it difficult to access the place but thanks to Google Map we found the place. The guide is also nice, he even show us the beautiful collection of paintings by the owner using the wings of the dead butterflies (the life of butterflies don't take year, it's just for weeks). But the place is not well maintained and the entrance fee is quite high. So don't set your expectations so high
