Mukas Barge Terminal

Nothing to do or to see here, it's just a transit terminal. There's just a small shop with snacks and few beverages. Be aware that the pollution is high here due to all the vehicles passing there.

This commercial port is located in Mukas, Kulambogan in the province of Lanao Del Norte, hence, Mukas port. This is one of the gateways to the West of Mindanao thru sea travel. There are plenty of RORO vessels here and trips are well every 10-20 minutes. Travel time from this port to Ozamis City port is around 45 minutes. The Mukas port is a bit small but it is good enough for a provincial port. There is a security coverage from the local police and passengers are coming from the nearby municipalities and other province aboard the provincial buses. There is a land route in going to the west towards Ozamis City but it will take you around 2 hours for the road trip. The Muks port is the best and shortest route towards Ozamis City.
