Club Agutaya

Nature's Paradise. We loved this hotel. On a beautiful beach for sunsets, we were lucky to coincide our visit with a baby turtle hatching. Best pool we found in the Philippines. Nice environmental touches like drinking water easily available in glass bottles. No single use plastics anywhere. Solar hot water. Wonderful staff who gave me a birthday breakfast. Thank you for some lovely memories.

We stayed here for 3 nights and were a little disappointed. The hotel is 4 years old and looked more like 14. The grounds are poorly maintained and the restaurant was average. They use the green environmental excuse for absence of items like yogurt. The rooms were very large and comfortable with a few minor maintenance issues. However the location is fab. It's half way along a 14km beach which you must walk along. We ate at Marine Terrace in San Vincent which is a great new Italian Restaurant. The e trikes are great for getting about. You can find them at San Vincent sea front . It's proximity to the airport is a big bonus. DONT miss the snorkelling at Twin Reefs it awesome. Lastly be aware of the sandflies. You will need to use the natural homemade lotion they supply. It worked for us.

This is such a fantastic resort hotel. We were here in December and now back in February. Rooms are nice, roomy, clean.. with really nothing to complain about. The beach is fantastic.. Club Agutaya is right in front of long beach and the sand is fine and not rocky. Water is calm and very clean. But mostly I love the food here. Cafe Lily looks like it expanded its menu from 2 months ago and everything is just great. Anything they do with their squid is delicious. Corned beef is the best. Cannot complain about anything.

This place is nice...nice atmosphere, nice beach. But unfortunately the staff rips you off. Had my laundry done...one average load. It was a day late and still damp when delivered...but Jean the operation manager charged nearly 1500 pesos, which is about 30 dollars...and wouldn't explain why. Wow 30 dollars for one late damp load of laundry...you would think a nice big resort like it is could make their revenue honestly, but apparently not. Beware. 1 star...if that.

Good service. Good food. Good view. I would definitely come back here.
