San Roque De Sampaloc Parish Church

The churchgoer is required to wear appropriate clothing. A churchgoer who will attend in clothes that are not prescribed by the local parish will be denied to receive the Holy Communion. I understand the need to implement this rule because you have to dress modestly and decently out of respect and reverence to God. I noticed that one of the suggested attire for a churchgoer is a long-sleeved shirt under a tuxedo. Honestly, I don't want to be caught wearing a dinner jacket inside a hot oven place in a tropical country. Wearing a formal attire is a personal invite to severe dehydration. I hope the parish will also consider comfort aside from decency. And clean clothes is a must too.
