Pura V. Kalaw Elementary School is one of the leading Primary Public Schools in the 3rd District of Quezon City. It was named after a beauty queen, the First Queen of the Manila Carnival in 1908. Pura V. Kalaw Elementary School once housed the Annex Building of Jose P. Laurel Sr. High School, due to its vast land area of 29,999 square meters, one of the biggest in Metro Manila from 1953 to 2008. In 2009, Belarmino Elementary School, another school behind PVKES was closed for permanent demolition to give way to a Sports Complex- the current Belarmino Sports Complex. During the Previous elections, it serves as the Polling Center for the Voters of Project 4, Quezon. It also serves as an evacuation center to those affected with local catastrophes- man-made and natural. The school is still closed and accessibility limited to the faculty and non-teaching personnel only. Face-to-face class setting is still suspended, until further notice.

Here is my school from 1-4 of the students and teachers at the school with a playground and healthy food grade 7 I am at parañaque national highschool before I do not want to go to school at parañaque now I want to have I am also a good friend thank you In memories pura v kalaw miss u all classmate and friend
