A training hospital, nice building with not-so-outdated facilities, caters alot of impatient patients, most of the time parking lot is full..

It was transformed from a public hospital to semi-private one, but acting as a private hospital. However, facilities are still incomplete. I hope and pray that it can be worked out, especially after the Siege, IDPs and other people in Lanao can hardly go to hospital.

Amai Pakpak Medical hospital is the biggest hospital in the province of Lanao del Sur. This hospital is way better now after its renovation than how it was before. It has a wide parking space, and it also has a praying where Muslims can do their daily prayers. This hospital accommodating from nurses to doctors but the doctors are mixtures of new practitioners and veterans. Doctors here can operate minor surgeries. Unfortunately, this hospital is not complete in terms of different expertise of its doctors. It lacks cardiologists, neurologist and a few. It likewise lacks some important facilities such as CT scan, MRI and others. It only offers 2 to 3 ambulances. On the positive note, this place is cheaper compare to private hospitals in iligan and cagayan de oro. I recommend for the patients, live around lanao del sur, who suddenly experienced stroke to go here for first aid treatment then transfer the patients to a better hospitals in Cagayan de oro city or Iligan city. I hope the government can support further the needs of this hospital so that people can benefit more although this place is already semi-private.
