Maria Cristina Falls

One of Iligan City's main landmark and tourist destination. It has been the city's main source of electricity since 1950s through its hydroelectric plant. The beautiful and scenic falls has an equally wondrous tale of its own. It's not called the majestic waterfalls for nothing 😉 We always bring our visitors here but today's the first time we've visited its turbine waterfalls. I hope i can upload and share the videos too

Mostly on our school trip to Agus 6, visiting Maria Cristina Falls is the most iconic falls in the history of Iligan City. That is why I love going into that place because of it's majestic beauty.

It was so amazing,,, when you see the falls, it was like, or you would say, thank you dear god for giving me the opportunity to see this kind if beauty that you made it for us!

Beautiful waterfall and power station. Our understanding was that the falls and ajoining eco-park were closed to the public but our driver spoke with the guards at the gate and we were allowed access to the falls. There's nice facilities, a covered observation deck as wall as some shops that are currently closed. I hope to visit again when the area is reopened.
