Unbelievable! We drove 3 hours to get to this bank to perform a simple transaction; transferring money from our account to another BDO account. Because the amount was over P1M, and because this was not our home branch, they "needed" approval from their Area Head. This took 2.5 hours and they told us that was fast! They actually wanted us to come back the next day, another 3 hour drive. We had done the same transaction last year with a higher amount, at a different branch and it took only 5 minutes! Our Branch Manager even called us while we were waiting and asked "us" why this ridiculous request! Maybe they should consider Customer Focus as a priority? Sometimes they forget that they are simply holding "OUR" money. If I lived in Calapan, I would definitely change banks!

I was about to transfer money from my BDO account to another BDO account. The Lady behind the counter told me that's not possible.... I have to withdraw the money at the ATM and to deposit at the counter. She mentioned that's the cheapest way to deposit money. After I proceed as she recommended, she asked me for 50 Pesos transaction fee. I wonder why??? I even did not received a bill about that fee.
