Kermit Surf Resort and Restaurant Siargao

Kermit Siargao Surf Resort and Restaurant is a little paradise geographically located in the tropical oasis of Siargao Island, Philippines. Started in 2011 with only a few cottages and a small kitchen, it has grown to become one of the wellknown Surf Resort and Restaurant in the island, serving the best Italian cuisine which makes people come back for more. Kermit Siargao prides itself for bringing goodwill and service from its dynamic and friendly personnel. We never failed to give warm accommodation, fast and appropriate service and world-class ambiance to everyone that comes for a visit.

Don't book with them. Absolute neglect from Kermit to their customers. We booked a deluxe room for several nights at Kermit for March '20, before the COVID crisis hit. They asked us to pay for the entire room upfront, ASAP. But once the pandemic spread across the globe and we were left with no option but to cancel the entire trip due to travel restrictions, we asked for a refund of the room and they told us they would refund us, with no estimated timings. We have now waited for 7 months for a refund or a reassurance from their side and they have simply decided to ignore us for the last months and they have not even given us an estimated time as to when they will be able to process a refund. So we can only assume that they have absolutely no intention to pay us back. We do understand that the COVID crisis has had a terrible impact on the entire travel sector - both my partner and I work in the industry too and are currently struggling. However, we know first hand that any company who values their customers should not leave them hanging and basically expect them to get tired of asking and disappear. THIS IS NOT OK. We can't provide a review about the actual experience at the hotel and/or restaurant, and if they had acted in a more trustworthy way, we would have definitely considered them as our accommodation choice for the next time we can plan a trip to Siargao, but that's not gonna happen. We will choose another hotel. Their neglect speaks volumes about how they treat their customers.

Good place to learn surfing for beginners. They have experienced instructors and when night comes, they have this bar. So good place to visit in siargao. Great food and drinks. Sounds also are great!

A great service. Smiling people. Really clean rooms. Super delicious food like salads, pizza and pasta. Professional, relaxed and easy-going surf coaches. Good vibes all over. That‘s Kermit. Go and have a look. You won‘t regret it.
