This was the most incredible vacation . We spent a week at the Kawayan resort for our honeymoon while in Siargao. The staff was incredible, the location was perfectly out of the way of the bustle of general luna but close enough to scooter there multiple times per day for activities and meals. The food was delicious at the resort restaurant and the bakery next door was incredible. We felt like we had a private pool and it was quiet and tranquil after fun days in the sun. We hope to be back someday and swim in the beautiful pool surrounded by lush vegitation and gentle sea air. Honestly feels like a dream thinking about this place. The bathrooms were one of the coolest feature being outdoors . Photos do not do this place justice. The cabana/apt's are huge and offer plenty of room for a couple with AC! Make sure to ask about local food recommendations, laundry or anything else that might tickle your fancy. Look no further than this place! They even threw in breakfast during our stay.

The food here is delicious! If you enjoy European quality cuisine cooked with local ingredients, it's probably the best restaurant in Siargao. Ingredients are of qualitiy and dish presentation is just so beautiful. The place itself is also romantic and beautiful.

I had booked to stay at this place for 10 days earlier this fall. I recieved booking confirmation and thought everything was okay. 3 months after receiving the confirmation and almost 2 weeks before I was about to arrive they messaged that they are actually booked for 3 nights in the middle of my stay. I gave them 2 stars since they were able to cancel my reservation with no fees but by this point everything else in Siargao was almost booked full. Disappointing that a place for this money doesn't accurately check their booking schedule and doesn't notice until I'm about to travel there.

The resort is not yet totally finished in their construction. They don't have restaurant or any room service for food so make sure that before you return to the resort you already ate and brought food and drinks with you already since its a bit far from where you can get food. The rooms are ok as long as you don't choose the room besides the lobby because it emits a foul odor that emits from their drainage. Choose the ones located on the right and left side of their walls.
