Rembert Homestay

Great place to relax. Away from the crowd. Location is great. Can be walking distance to the center of General Luna. There is a treehouse which during the day is best for yoga and meditation and at night time great place to hang out and watch the fireflies. Jon the host is very friendly guy and mellow. Sometimes he makes food and his Salmon Sinigang is the best! He also have a cat named Sleepy who is best in sleeping 😆. Highly recommended this place.

I love the place. The quite and very nice vacay vibe of the place is great! I love the idea of capsule type room but everything you need is in there :) Plus the amazing hosts Camilla and Jon. Thank you so much. I entered at Rembert as a room guest, i left as a friend. See you soon! 😊😊

What a great place to stay in GL! The owners are super nice, they shared their dinner with me and we went to a cool bar in the evening together. I’d definitely stay there again

What a great place, really quite and awesome accomodation for a great price. Definately my go to for General Luna. Lovely evening views too.

Thank you Alex you made out stay at Rembert one to remember. We were very happy with the service, our host at the time Alex was super friendly and extremely helpful with everything from boats to bike hire and organising our transport to dapa at 4am!! The location is close to GL to walk to dinner or shops. But quietly tucked away from the noise and busy streets. The bathrooms at the dorms are clean and modern. We loved the friendly dogs, the greenery of all the hanging plants and especially loved the upstairs treehouse patio area it was so gorgeous to sit in a hammock and watch the sunset over the ocean. We stayed in the happy hut across the road which was self contained house with two rooms(1single1double) with fans, kitchen, fridge, double gas burner, free water, flushing toilet, hot shower water (best water pressure I’ve had in siargao!!). Also loved the indoor painted feature wall! The only downsides we experienced during our stay both probably out of the hosts control. 1) In the mornings, the locals next door would burn leaves from about 7 - 11am (maybe for mosquitos???) but with no windows in the house meant the potent smoke quickly filled the house and the smell got into everything :( 2) The area just outside the main bedroom window stank of urine - for still unknown reasons! 😳🤷🏼‍♀️ Overall we had a good stay and would be back again :)
