Bamboo Garden Bar & Lodging

Very close to the sea with nice little bungalows and a terrace to just hang out and watch the surfers or just to read and chill. Good food. No hot water, but you don't really need it. Friendly staff.

Rude owner to both staff and guests. Dirty rooms that were only slightly cleaned during our stay. Terrible food and not much atmosphere. Fine if you're looking for cheap surfing accommodation, just dont expect any hospitality.

We came here for dinner one night because this place seemed to have a few veggies options on their menu, and the service was average to say the least. The man at the bar (I’m assuming the owner) was sat there with his feet up on the bar. We ordered a veggie wrap and a veggie curry and it took 50 minutes for them to come out, even though there wasn’t anyone else in the restaurant. When the food came out, the veggie curry was really good and the wrap... well it tastes good but it was a salad wrap that had been put in a panini press. Thank goodness for hot sauce.

Great stay here in the bungalow! Loved being right on the water. No need for A/C as there’s always a nice breeze. Loved the hermit crabs, even the ones in the shower! Great place to get off the grid for a few days with no cell service, away from all the partying of GL.

Great place for a beer or two!! Food does stop at 7! So if you're hungry after that time, drink more beer.
