Back to the past
The place looks like one of this lost places which was abandoned 20 years ago. With the design of the 90s and action figures scattered around the whole area. It must have been nice at the time it opened. Shockingly this place opened in 2010 and noone ever heard the word maintainance in the management team.
The interior of the bungalows has the charme of a 90s escape game. The bathroom tiles are old and rundown with cracks. The sink is cracked and looks very run down. The towel holder nearly falls off the wall. The watches don't work and one even has a leaked battery. In the rooms is no wifi and only few sockets, the electric sockets are in bad condition and sparkle if you plug a new device which is very dangerous.
The area of Hannah's is huge and if in good condition it would be nice to explore and go around especially with children. But since it's so rundown I wouldn't advise anyone to let your children go around that place alone. Cabels are laying around, rosty metals and aircons are splattered all over and damaged figures with sharp edges stand everywhere.
The breakfast which was included had a very bad quality. The eggs were overcooked and the mains spam, tapsilog or bangus were small and tasteless. We ate at the restaurant also for dinner the first evening and it was like the breakfast uninspired, tasteless and defenitly not worth the price.
The rooms are overpriced and not worth the money, I wouldn't recommend anyone going here if no changes are implemented.
My advise would be to close down the resort and renovate it. Bring it to a 2020 standard and fix all broken aircons and cables and houses. Repaint everything and invest in proper WiFi. Even sometimes it's also nice to be disconnected.
And also clean the beach every day, it looks like a landfill and needs cleaning every day and if you have some spare money buy out the small huts and businesses beside you and make the area nicer and greener as it was before you opend up the resort.
Good resort for kids and very unique. Food for breakfast was not that great and the place is fairly expensive for the Philippines. I was surprised how expensive it is for what you get. High end prices for what would be considered a low end hotel in other countries.
Overall a unique place that you should stay at least once, but later on for the price etc better look elsewhere to get a reasonable price for the quality of the accommodation.
The natural beauty of the beach is just majestic! It's how much the people who owns Hannah's has changed the place that appalls me. They've built cottages everywhere. This place will eventually be destroyed if owner doesn't stop putting up buildings and cottages. I heard the government is shutting down the zipline but they were still using it the last time I went there.
Great Place
Nice experience. Beach is deep. Be careful
