Museo Ilocos Norte

A simple museum showcasing waht was it like in Ilocos from a ling time ago. All of the items here are mostly from my childhood days.

Cool to tour and see a bit of the history of the region. Well displayed items and a good experience to better understand the culture of the area.

Closed for renovations at the mo (January 2020). No indication of when reopening. Sign says souvenir shop open..... but that also closed.

Highly recommended to be your first place to visit. You can buy your souvenir and other ilocano products after your mini tour of the place. Visit the museum TAOID next door to get more of ilocano heritage. Don't forget to get a free map at the tourist info desk

MUSEO ILOCOS NORTE Opens Monday to Sunday up to 5pm 50 Pesos Entrance fee. As respect to the museum, touching is prohibited and since they trust you for this visiting this place must follow rules. Can take pictures all you want, even tho the 50 pesos was not worth enough just because its small and very hot no ac in the rooms. But its just helping the community to preserve the culture we had for ilocano's and native. You can enjoy as some were imititation i supposed and some were authentic real.
