To most of us from the South, Aparri is only familiar to us because of a noontime show's jingle. Aside from the fact we know that it is the northernmost town in mainland Luzon. Surprisingly, Aparri is more progressive than many other towns I have been too. The presence of wide popular banks and fasrfood chains and remittance centers are notable as we explore its streets.

Late review - Visit date: Feb2017. We walked on this town's breakwater where your eyes will fill with delight when you see the sky meet the sea while you hear the big waves crashing on the shores. Not much tourist attraction in this town but if you are a traveller you will already take pleasure in observing how the locals go about their day and the simplicity that this town offers. Best visited during the summer season since most storms exit the Philippines up north hitting the areas at the tip of Luzon like this town.
