Terrible. It was an uncomfortable stay. The room smells smoke of burning leaves, everyday. There is wifi but signal is very poor that even one device cant connect. I wont even give a rate of 1 star if there is an option to put zero.

I understand that it's just very new. I just didn't enjoy my time fully here. The service was polite but not enough. Our room didn't have toilet paper, enough water bottles and pillows. The place looked nice and the staff were very welcoming ,understanding and attendant to our concerns, which is why I understood the novelty of this hotel. The beds are a bit uncomfortable. Their food was good, it just could've been better. They don't have elevators either, so good luck to those with big heavy bags! :( I'm still happy I got to stay here because I got to see what more they can do with their business. It has a lot of potential, but I have to be honest and give my stay a 2/5. I left a review on a paper they gave as well which I appreciated a lot. Give it a try and see how your stay goes, it may have changed a lot!

We stayed during the Holy Week and we were delighted that we finally found a nice hotel in Laoag! They just opened so not all facilities are ready but the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast were served plated but very sumptuous. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our wifi connection was superb! We saw the swimming pool being constructed and we can’t wait to come back once it’s done.

Quiet. Feels new.

From afternoon drinks to sumptuous dinners, Sola gives a high standard for the rest of the hotels in Ilocos Norte. The ambience is great, lighting is okay, the food - magnificent! My favorite is their Kare-kare, the best in Ilocos so far. Their savory seafood pancit tasted exactly as I thought it would be. Crispy pata perfectly crisped and cut to the pieces I love and the grilled squid melts in your mouth. I just hope they would serve the food faster next time, but it's still acceptable if you're not in a rush.
