Tiopes Dental Clinic

Been here several times, amazing service as always from this great Dental Clinic! I felt extremely safe and protected whilst I was there, for my appointment as all Covid safety measures were in place. The dentist and hygienist were in full PPE (the floor was still slightly wet as it had been mopped ,after the last patient had left, which really put my mind at ease). I can't recommend this place enough, as the Doctor is highly skilled and knowledgeable.

Very accomodating staff and dentist. They know how to handle their patients professionally. The clinic is also nice and the ambiance is relaxing. Will definitely come back for their service.

Went to the clinic and asked if we could be seen that day. The lady at the front desk said 'yes'. The dr. had a patient at that time and seemed like there were others waiting as well. Asked that lady what time we can come back so we can utilize the waiting time elsewhere instead of their waiting room. She asked us to come back at 2:30 (it was close to lunch time when we came). We came back at 2:45 and the dr. still had a patient. Asked the same lady if we should come back, but she said that she will be finished soon. Asked if after the current patient, if I'll be next, and she said 'yes'. So, I waited. After 45minutes, the dr. was done. I was surprised that she called the lady who was sitting next to me (who came in while we were waiting) and told her she was next. So I had to ask because she said I was next. She didn't give a clear explanation. So, I just asked how long that would take and she said it may take an hour. I reminded her that I had asked if I should come back so could have done something else instead of waiting in their waiting room. All she said was "procedures can take long". I know procedures take long, but the point was that she said I was next. And all that time, she kept looking at her phone, her attitude was as if she didn't want to be there. If they were busy and couldn't accommodate us, we could have gone somewhere else. Then she said, "Pwede naman kayo pumunta sa iba." (You can go elsewhere) with a tone that our business wasn't important. If her skills in estimating a "time to finish" is not amongst her skills set, at least know who is next in line. Poor customer service! I've been to the previous Dr. Tiopes who originally owned the clinic and she was good. I heard that the current one is the niece (could be wrong). I'm sure she's capable, but unfortunately, this particular staff doesn't do her any favor. I ended up going to Bonagua Clinic (if you're facing Tiopes' entry, Bonagua's clinic is the one located on the right). I am thankful that Tiopes' front desk lady was rude, otherwise, I wouldn't have discovered the Bonagua sisters. They're really good, accommodating, and reflected excellent customer service. If you want to be treated with respect, and have people value your time, then I'd go to Bonagua.
