Jesús dela Peña Chapel

The oldest church and the first church to hold first mass, believed to have been blessed by Sto. Nino,, reason why it is called Jesus Dela Pena means a small Jesus was found in the rocks, now church was built, this church is now called San Isidro Labrador Chapel.

The first church ever built in Marikina City, proud to be a local of this small town in Marikina. According to our old folks, this was built in the year 1500's when an image of Sto. Nino was found covered by rocks.
